Epitalon

Epitalon (also known as Epithalon or Epithalone) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) based on the natural peptide epithalamin produced by the pineal gland. It was developed by Professor Vladimir Khavinson at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology.

Research has studied Epitalon for its ability to activate telomerase, the enzyme responsible for maintaining telomere length — a key marker of cellular aging. Studies have demonstrated telomere elongation in human somatic cells treated with Epitalon. It also regulates melatonin production and has shown life-extension effects in animal models. Epitalon represents one of the most studied anti-aging peptides in the bioregulator class. This compound is for research purposes only.
